She is an elderly girl I've had her for over 15 years ,she is more then a pet sje is the daughter I will never had .she has been there for me at my best and worst times in life ,and I know she doesn't have many years left of her life at 16 years old ,her being separated from me is more then heartbreaking it's the air being ed from my lungs, the last beat of my heart not having her with me not knowing if she is okay .being kept awake thinking you can still hear her bark .watching out the windows and checking the door to see if maybe she is at the door tail wagging for me to let her in .until her return I'll be more numb inside with each passing day .heart hollow filling emptier with each passing second she is not with me .she is the other half of canine companion.
