If found in your community walk around and ask residents if anyone knows who owner is or where they may live. Get proof of ownership.
Take to a vet to check for a microchip. It’s free. Thank you for keeping safe. If no owner found contact a rescue group.Read More
Just suggestions to possibly help find the owners:
Please check for a chip. Any vet or petco should be able to do this for free. Have them scan the whole body as chips can move.
They should be able to check the tag as well.
Check/post on next door app.
Check post on pawboost, lost & found pets of Cypress. I know you posted on the fb page, just checking if you looked through them to see if anyone has posted already looking for them.
You might also try walking them in the area you found them to see if they lead you to their home.
If possible can you put up posters and/or knock on doors near where they were found for people not on social media.
You can also check area vets to see if they know the dog, anyone has come looking for it, or if you can put up a flyer there.
Thank you for keeping them safe and trying to find the owner!Read More
Any new pet added within 2 miles of your location will be automatically shared to your Nextdoor feed.
The post will automatically update when a pet is reunited.
