The owners need to keep looking at this discussion group - your dog HAS been found. Are you out there? Are you gone, in a detention camp? Many thousands are and their pets languish without them...

Zee Avila Keep trying! They may have thought it was hopeless and not checking that email. Report as Found to the SD Humane Society, maybe they have a Lost Pet record there. https://sdhumane.org/services/lost-found-pets/#. Also contact Babs Fry, the owners may have contacted her at the time. How wonderful you have Starkey! Please don't adopt him out ... owner will respond eventually.

Unfortunately I cant seem to contact the person who found him as they dont have a number attached :(( I will see if they respond to my mail
