Mary LaFontaine I didn't say don't call, but I am giving you real world answers not let's hope they come. We have no idea where the dog actually is currently, much less animal control doesn't provide medical care, that would fall on the shelter or owner.

Mica Durham It also takes time for skin to heal when it gets to that point, even if being treated. No a dog shouldn't get to that condition but we don't know what an owner is facing or what happened to get to that point. We can go back and forth all day long on what care should be like but a dog was not secure and as far as we know still isn't.

Mica Durham like I said. We don’t know the circumstances behind the obvious health issue. I’m not saying the owner is a POS or is. This dog could be in current treatment or not. Could be the owner can’t afford cause lord knows the cost of vet care is not cheap but there are resources that many don’t know about. Not saying anything is justified just saying we don’t know what we don’t know but what we do however know is the dog needs help.
