Message from Owner

IN HELOTES, TEXAS, CEDAR SPRINGS SUBDIVISION, on Lupine Meadow: My black & white cow cat, MR. TU-TU has been missing for several days now (4/14/25 - 4/16/25). He's a neutered feral who has remained on my property, mostly the back porch, fenceline, or Kitty cndmnium for approx. 5 years, only "hiding" during thunderstorms or fireworks nights. It's not like him to miss any of his 5 daily meals, so I'm very worried. He's survived mange, starvation, and in history, sadly, he's been chased by neighborhood kids (and adults), sprayed with pesticides, beaten - nearly losing his left eye, poisoned, and SHOT!!!!!!! If you've seen him in the Cedar Spring Subdivision area (Helotes, Texas), please please please reply here so I can find him and bring him . I love him, and hope to find him safe - soon! Thank you!

Erica Sullivan Oh, she's very beautiful. I'll pray you can find a loving forever home for her. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be getting another cat. I'm praying mine returns home. You might check with Humane Society. If you join them for a min. fee, and agree to house the cat 'til they can adopt it out at a Petsmart or Petco Show, they'll give you food (and litter too, I think). Good luck, and God bless you for caring for her right now. She is sooooooo pretty!!!!!!

A female cat arrived at my house on March 1st on the East Side near China Grove. No chip. Looks similar to yours. Let me know if you’re interested. I am sorry and I do hope you find your cat.

Search at night w/ a flashlight (eyes will glow). Check up in trees and inside/under things in your yard and up to 4 - 5 houses away. Search garages, sheds, under decks and bushes, in crawl spaces, behind AC units - any place the cat might be trapped or hiding. Many cats go into hiding mode for safety and won't come when they hear their owner's voice but try calling and try either shaking a can/bag of treats or carrying an open (smelly) can of cat food or fish. Put something w/ the cat's scent on the porch (cat bed, scratching post, sofa pillows). Keep your garage door up enough to allow entry. Keep fresh bowls of water out. Put up large missing cat posters (neon poster board works well), talk to neighbors (leave info for those not home), post on all local social media groups and make sure to check with local animal control at least once a week (better to go in person but at least call and send them a photo). If not found at night with a flashlight, go out during early morning, before dawn, as many cats are active around that time. If not found in a few days, you can always buy a humane cat trap but traps *must* be checked multiple times each day without fail and shouldn't be used when raining.

Linda Ash Thank you, Linda. I did post on Nextdoor and on our HOA Facebook pages, as well. Poster are up on the area mailboxes, and I've been knocking on doors too. I'm just praying he's OK and will make it home safe - soon. Thanks.
