FOUND / POSSIBLY LOST CAT – Bridgeview, IL (Near S 78th Ave.) I care for a colony of community cats near S 78th Ave in Bridgeview, and this orange-and-white cat has recently started showing up in the area. The cat has been meowing frequently, which is unusual compared with the other colony cats, and seems to be staying close to the feeding station. I don't recognize this cat as one of the regulars, so I'm hoping to find out whether it belongs to someone or if anyone has been looking for it. The cat is orange and white, appears fairly young, and I did not see a collar. If this is your cat or you recognize it, please contact me. I'd love to help reunite this sweet kitty with its family if it has one. Location: Near S 78th Ave., Bridgeview, IL Date Seen: 07/20/2026 Please share this post with friends and neighbors in Bridgeview, Justice, Burbank, Oak Lawn, and nearby communities. Even if you aren't sure, a share could help this cat find its way home. ❤️🐈

Sandra, I have 3 rescued residents cats and 3 month old kitten I rescued a month ago. If I had a spare room I would take this poor cat. I wish there were more people willing to help. More people willing to step in and be foster parent and help cat in need.🥲

Pat Fiore I agree, Or people need to be responsible pet owners.. My husband and I have always adopted cats from shelters since we were living together in the '80's.. Still adopting cats and we are married thirty eight years..NEVER EVER HAD ONE GET OUT. We are down to 2 because of our age.Our cats always had collars and tags even though they never left the house. It's called being a responsible pet owner.. I know accidents happen. That is why you're cat should have a chip and a collar. It is unfair that all these animals are outside

Sandra K Sims Yes it is a struggle with cats right now. Ya never know when you might get a yes because of adoptions. All people can do is continue trying. Why would you think a shelter would just a cat? They do treat illnesses and injuries unless it's something severe. I brought a sick cat to a shelter yesterday and I don't expect he will be "killed".

Cindy Marie I Found a beautiful cat once not that long ago I called shelters that were literally 35 miles from my house. I called every shelter that I knew or saw posted. They all said no. If you know of a shelter. That would not it. Please help the cat 🩷
