Krystal Jassmond Baird it’s In the grocery store in cans right beside the tuna, sardines and all that yucky canned seafood that I won’t eat. If there’s a choice I’d go with packed in water, not oil but I’m honestly not sure if it even comes in water so get whatever they have. They also sell the tiniest of tins I’ve ever seen in my life in the aluminum tray section. U don’t need an awful lot. If she’s getting in and eating but not tripping the trap u may need to borrow a kitten trap. Rescues can lend u one, our tractor supply lends them out or u can purchase a kitten trap that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Her body weight may not be heavy enough to spring the trap thus letting her eat and waltzing right back out. Clearly if she’s been visiting the trap I wouldn’t move it cause she’s gonna go to that spot looking for cat-food which is no good when trying to trap. Keep me posted on how u make out:) 🙏

Krystal Jassmond Baird we’ve had great success with the human mackerel as I’m sure u r aware it stinks to the high heavens. I swear the scent reaches their little noses almost immediately. I actually trapped my momma Lilly and her two kittens in broad daylight at approx 8 a.m. with this crap. Had a normal size trap in the center & two baby traps on either side all but touching one another. Covered with a quilt, on my porch with the doors facing my porch door so I could easily see if the door had sprung. Within 15 minutes I heard momma’s trap go off. Left her sit to hopefully lure the babies. 5 minutes later a kitten trap went off, so i slithered outside to see which kitten I had trapped. Much to my delight & happiness, when I peeked inside I had BOTH kittens in that one little trap. No fussing overnight & worrying how long they were locked up. Had all 3 by 8:30 a.m. I was in amazement yet so very proud of myself:)

Wendy Robenolt I'll definitely try it I've been covering it and there's been something hitting at the trap just it's managed to eat the food and get out without setting it off but I guess they said it all every time they go out of the cage at least the one and I've been putting warm cat food in it at night and in the morning I put fresh cat food
