Message from Owner

Betty was last seen at home Wednesday morning. She didn’t come home and pop in during the day like she usually does. We are heart broken. We’ve looked everywhere for her. Hoping she got spooked and ran father than normal. Please keep an eye out. She is also a good tree climber so could be up in a tree.

So sorry to hear that your cat is missing, here are some things that might help in your search. Put out things that smell familiar, like their toys, bed, definitely their favorite food and water. And things that smell like you such as a shirt or blanket. Double check every place in your house, crawlspaces, sheds, and garages, and in the bushes around your house. Ask neighbors to do the same. Cats will hide in the darndest places. And call his name while you're walking around outside looking for him, or even inside in case he's trapped in a closet. The sound of your voice will help. Get flyers up in the area and make sure your neighbors are all aware to be on the lookout. Post on PawBoost and all the Lost Pet sites for where you live, and those will get shared. Constantly check with all of the animal shelters and they're posting a lot their intakes on Facebook. Also check with vets in the area. You can set out a humane trap and see if you can catch your kitty that way. If your cat is micro chipped, which I hope it is, check with the microchip company in case somebody finds your cat . If you have Ring or other security cameras outside, check those, and ask neighbors if they can check theirs as well. And if you've heard about coyotes in the area, please don't continue to let them outside. Please bring them inside and keep them inside to keep them safe going forward.

Post flyers. Post on nextdoor app. Post on Pet FBI.Talk to neighbors. Keep garage door cracked. Get a trap with stinky tuna or sardines. Go out when it's late at night with treats and Flashlight and call her name and shake treats when it's quiet. Call all local vets and shelters and give a description in case someone brings her in to get scanned for a chip. Hope you find your baby 💓

I hope that you find her. Leave flyers up , all over your neighborhood. One of my beloved cats went missing for 2 weeks. He had become spooked by a thunderstorm. He was under one of the apartment complex buildings. Neighbor heard him meowing. I crawled underneath the building and got him.
