If/When Restrained: Post on NEXTDOOR and For the Love of Louie. MAKE FAMILY SHOW PROOF (vet records, pics). Fake family may try to steal pet. If pet does not respond to person(especially a dog) , then probably not their family. Have vet check for chip for free. Alert shelters and local police so family knows where to find pet. Not safe to give to anyone you do not know. People take free pets for torture etc. Find a rescue and ask rescue how to re-home. If rehoming, ask for their vet no and call to get recommendation. If no vet, then be skeptical. If you found a dog, take for walk in area found. If a cat, it could be someones outdoor cat. See if it sticks arounds before you take to shelter. Post on all sites in your area or around area found. Put up a few flyers. Keep Pet warm, safe and fed. If thin, be careful what you feed pet.

Shirley LeBlanc The cat looks similar to our cat Cinco. We live 1800 North Eager Road. He looks close but or cat has longer hair and a big fuzzy tail.

This looks Journey, he lives in Lakeshore Village Apartments so with the distance it might not be him. But his owner is negligent and just lets him run wild despite the danger, he's essentially a stray at this point. He's a total sweetheart and loves to be petted and deserves a caring home. I'll update with pictures in a few for comparison when I can find them. Fun fact: he once broke into my apartment and it took ages to lure him out. He also broke into my car once. Lovely, sweet cat ❤️
