Even at 16 if she’s scared of fireworks and doesn’t see well, she should only be outside on a leash at all times and someone should be with her at all times-there are coyotes is out there and she is old and like you said can’t see so hopefully this incident won’t happen again. I’m so happy you are getting Roxy back.

Excellent news! So happy that Roxy had you to care for her and kept her safe. I’m glad that you were able to contact the owners and have made arrangements. I hope The owner’s will now keep her on a leash when outside and keep an eye on her better even though she’s 16 -looks like she can leave her yard. At least this turned out with a happy ending this time!

Jacklyn Ann Rhodes yes the owner has reached out and we will be reuniting them this evening. Roxy had a fun sleepover and will be home in her own bed tonight. All is well. I took really good care of her.
