Message from Owner

Please help spread the word about this lost dog. Lucy was lost on August 18, 2026 in Sacramento, CA near Cotera Motors & 27th Ave. URGENT AT RISK MISSING DOG $300 REWARD!! Last seen o Franklin Blvd & 27th Ave darting into Cotera Motors towards Franklin Police station on Tuesday 8/18/23 at 4pm. Our dear girl ran out of her dog sitter's hse at around 2pm on Tuesday 8/18/26. I got home a couple hours later and was shocked and relieved when I saw her darting into the car dealership around 4pm, but was unable to get a single onlooker to help me while I screamed to catch her while I was on the other side of Franklin and unable to reach her before she went through the thick bush towards the police station. She looked disheveled and was running at full speed and intensity. I reached her as she slid under the cars but didn't see her exit. Unfortunately no one else bothered to look where she went from there. She still had her green leash attached but tag ha fallen off collar. Extremely FAST runner. Had green leash on when last seen but name tag was off. Do not chase as she's very skittish. Please call/text with any information or sitings! Black & White Mini schnauzer Mix, about a foot long and 8lbs. She lost most of her tail during an attack so it's just a lil nub now-not really a noticeable tail. Last seen darting into Cotera Motors towards Franklin Police station on Tuesday 8/18/23 at 4pm. We are extremely worried about her having been out running in that heat for so long. I spoke with people who saw her during that first 2 hour run, but not since. It leads me to think someone grabbed her by her leash and has her. I just pray that they have it in their hearts not to rob her 80 yr old grandparents of their only and beloved grandchild. They are beyond heartbroken and the hse has fallen silent. If anyone sees a friend or neighbor with a new black & white doggy with a tiny nub tail, to let us know if there might be a chance it's our most treasured family member. Thanks to everyone in advance for the help and support. txt/cll For more information or to contact the owner, click here:

Sherri Karle I am updating all her listings to show her proper name. I wss told by the shelter and microchip people -not- to share it so that it doesn't make it easier for someone to lure her away. But too many people here say the opposite. I'm just trying to do the best I can to get her back. I was unable to give birth-she is my baby. I'm a grown woman who has spent a crazy amount of $ & time & is couch-surfing with strangers so I can stay in sac in order to search alone each day. I appreciate your suggestion and am on it

Be sure to put on Nextdoor App and Neighborsring App daily so nobody forgets because every time people keep making posts that pushes all posts down the news feed and you know how many there are and if nobody comments on posts the same thing will happen. Make sure you put on South Sacramento Lost and found pets Facebook Group even again every couple days and Sacramento Lost and found animal Facebook group.DO NOT Respond to any codes it's people trained to scam you.. File lost reports with Bradshaw shelter and Frontstreet shelters. If your still in town make sure you go in every other day.Take chip Id# with you Ask them to look it up because the easiest are not going to be on the websites although you should be looking at them several times daily but don't rely on them.... And just because microchip don't rely on shelters vets or anybody else calling get in there it's owner's responsibility as long as it takes
