Irene Costamis a microchip is implanted between shoulder blades (size of grain of rice) it will contain your contact info in case she gets lost again & someone takes her to a vet or animal shelter to have her scanned. Many animal shelters allow owners approx 3 days to claim before available for adoption.

Helping lost dogs across Canada she wears a harness when we walk her. Doesn’t wear a collar in the house as it make her fur come off (and it’s not right) and I have heard microchips aren’t 100% effective but I will consider it after this random escape.

Irene Costamis wonderful news! ☺️ Suggestions. Have her microchipped/wear pet ID tag on collar/use a martingale harness when walking & pet safety belt when travelling.
