Henderson Animal Shelter is known to take in red eared sliders. It def needs some water to stay hydrated especially in this heat.

You can take the turtle to any vet to scan for an ID chip. If no owner is found, you can call around to the local PetCo's to see if they can take in a turtle or suggest where you can take it.
