Bolt is my 4 year old cat. He reminds me of my grandmother who I lost over 10 yrs ago. He sleeps with me every night. He has a son who also sleeps with us and is very very distraught over losing him. His son has been looking all over the house for him everyday since he went missing. Please help get my love back to me. He is greatly missed!!

Put his litter box on your porch along with an article of clothing with your scent on it. Cats have a wonderful sense of smell and will come to the familiar smell. Leave a window cracked nearby so that you can hear him when he comes back. They usually don’t go very far, only a few houses in each direction, so post pictures around the neighborhood and talk to neighbors. Ask them to check sheds and garages for you. If you put food out, stay close by so other animals don’t frighten him away. Look for him around dark, as that’s when they come out of hiding. Check animal control in person, as they may not recognize him and you will. Don’t give up! Sometimes it takes several days to find them.
