Maybe a rescue can help. South Plains SPCA. Or Kat's Alley Cats. Send them a message and see if there’s a foster available

I’m definitely not going to release her. Three neighbors have moved and she’s so sweet and playful that she’s a perfect candidate for adoption. I’m working to find her owner as well as a foster or permanent home. Are the Lubbock animal shelters good? I’ve lived in cities where the shelter very much aren’t trustworthy or underfunded/understaffed and so strays just get put down, so I wouldn’t trust them. I would hope Lubbock shelters don’t do that, especially with this sweet girl. I’ll sleep with her in my car if I have to until I find a place I trust for her to go!

Tuxedo cat & good luck finding an owner. Probably just another stray in a town w/ thousands of cats not fixed running around getting pregnant all the time. If you don't find the owner, I pray you find a good home for her. Good luck. 💖
