Put a piece of your clothing and/or your cat's bed and toys outside. Cats can smell their scent from long distances and find their way home using their noses. Also, put up flyers at all major intersections near you, local grocery stores, veterinary clinics and Starbucks. Post Lost Cat notices on PawBoost.com, 24PetConnect.com, Colorado Lost or Found Pets (a Facebook page), Nextdoor and Craigslist. If your cat has been missing for more than five days, it may have been taken to a shelter. After five days, the shelter may put your cat up for adoption via Petfinder.com, so be sure to check that site as well. Talk to your neighbors and ask them to be on the lookout for your kitty. And don't forget to call the animal shelter nearest you every day. Cats typically don’t stray far and often are hiding out in bushes or under a porch nearby. The best time to look for your lost kitty is after dark—around midnight or later when they feel comfortable coming out of hiding. Good luck!

🐈‍⬛ 🐾🏡 If your kitty is microchipped, please contact the chip company to report kitty lost and make sure your contact info is up to date. Put up posters and flyers asap. Post on Nextdoor. Ask neighbors to check security cameras for sightings. Ask them to check sheds, garages, under bushes, porches, window wells, and up in trees. It's important that they not call kitty's name or chase. You become a predators when kitty is scared. Let kitty approach you. Kitties come out at night. Sundown to Sun up. Scared cats come out when it's quiet. It's best to go out at night and to sit quietly and listen. Sometimes you can hear them meow. Call quietly and shake kitty treats. A flashlight can help you see their eyes. Scared cats will hide under bushes or other hidden places and sit silent. Your cat should be pretty hungry now. Place a feeding station by your door and piece of your smelly laundry. It would be ideal to do this with a camera in place to monitor. Please remove the litter box as that can attract predators. Check your backyard during the early morning hours. It's amazing how many cats show up at the back door. Keep an eye on local shelters. I'll continue to watching for her. 🙏🐈‍⬛❤️

BOOTS ON THE GROUND START IMMEDIATELY Walk the path went missing. Sightings. 1st Day u can't stop searching even if ur out there 6 hours. 80% SMALL CAT in Bushes. Check yours, Neighbors, Whole Block. Walk Path Daily 4 X day and nighttime is most important. Bring a bag of dry CAT food and shake it while walking. KNOCK on doors 100% don't skip. Make face-to-face contact. SOMEBODY HAS SEEN UR CAT. If not home go back early evening or early morning. ASK GO in backyard search under deck, inside shed, inside window wells, under staircases, on balconies. Get Flyers IMMEDIATELY Super Cheap go to Kinkos Store or FedEx Store or Office Depot or Office Max or Staples. Make sure every person u speak too gets a flyer.

Be aggressive. Cats hide because there scared but don't go far at all. 95% are in bushes, yours or neighbors. Check whole block. Knock on doors 100% of those homes. If someone isn't home go back early evening or early morning. Ask go in backyard. Check under deck, in shed, window wells, any place to hide. WALK the path went missing, walk 4 X day plus at night when it's quiet so u can hear meows. Listen whisper faint of meow. Hand flyers on every house, have ur name, address, ur name, phone # doors. They are super cheap, go to Kinkos Store, FedEx store, Office Depot, Office Max, Staples. Do so immediately. File a Lost Report with Humane Society. Prayers 🙏
