My son takes off his leash so he can sleep with him. Please help me find him; I have three children waiting for him. I ask that you please provide any information you might have.

Check the surrounding shelters every day, not just the one in your city. Someone may have picked the dog up and not live near you, then dropped the dog at a shelter near them. It’s easy to do, go on their websites and scan the pictures. Also, go in person sometimes they hold dogs in the back that are not in the pictures. And also put posters up, because not everyone is on social media.

General information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house. (EX. Worn clothing / shoes from family member dog lives with). Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media) Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing and to see if it has been picked up.

Add the cross streets, date lost! Post flyers. Post to Bellflower lost pets groups. Report to shelters, check daily in person, chip company - is he microchipped I hope?! Collar with ID tags on? Check cameras, homeless encampments. Take better care of your dog! What do you mean his “leash is taken off?!!” Huh?! Leashes aren’t necessary inside your home!! Always keep collars with ID tags on and leashed up when outside and never left alone outside!! It’s over 100 degrees out and coyotes! This breed cannot be outside in the heat for long!! Watch your dog!
