Message from Owner

LOST DOG – PLEASE HELP US FIND CHASE Our sweet senior dog, Chase, went missing this morning near my sister’s apmt. We believe he may have slipped out while furniture was being brought into the hse. He is unfamiliar with the area and likely doesn’t know how to get back. Chase is: * 13 years old (senior dog) * Maltese/Poodle mix * White with one brown spot * Starting to have vision problems, so he may be scared or confused If you see Chase, please do not chase him if he seems frightened. If possible, keep him safely in sight and contact us right away. We miss him so much and just want to bring him home safely. Please share this post if you can. Thank you for helping us find our boy. ❤️

General Information: Set up a scent station, The purpose of a scent station is to guide a dog back to the location you want him to go to - he still can use his sense of smell even though he may be older. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house (EX Worn clothing / shoes from a family member/owner that the dog lives with.) Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Owners: Do not try and search for the dog - as your scent travels when you are out and walking all over can confuse the dog. The dog should only smell your scent near your home. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to find their way home using their nose. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing to see if it has been picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Beware of scammers.
