The dirty clothes suggestion often does work. Just place the items in the area where you last saw your dog. Hunters often throw down their jackets in the woods where they last saw a hound, only to go back later and find the dog sitting on the jacket or nearby. A dog's nose will often get a whiff of something that smells like his family or "home" and follow the scent right back to those items left out. You can use a jacket, shirt, t-shirt, dirty socks, the dog's bed/blanket, etc...anything unwashed that contains your scent and or the dog's. You can hang the items on a low tree limb or shrub or even place them directly on the ground.

Check with your local shelter to see if she has been picked up. Call local Vets to see if anyone has had her checked for a Microchip. GOOD LUCK!!!! Shared
