On other sites, it was posted that it took over two hours for anyone to show up where this dog was. The good Samaritan had the dog in their vehicle and had to call 911 3 times. No one at 911 informed them about the emergency vet clinic. This person has no dogs and was not familiar with the emergency vet clinic and cannot be blamed for that. They reported that when the Animal Control officer arrived she was rude, angry, and did not wish to do her job. Complained that they should’ve brought the dog to her. She would not even pick up the dog from the man’s vehicle to place it into her Animal Control van. Because the dog was surrendered to Animal Control no one but the owner can find out any information on if this animal is OK or if they simply let it die. I believe the owner lived close by where the dog was found. This is complete an utter incompetence and is reprehensible behavior by the Animal Control officer. She should be fired from her job. It is a thankless job we know, but it’s because of people like this that nobody wants to deal with Animal Control. Give the good Samaritan a break they did what they needed to do and sat with that injured dog for two hours, waiting to get help from someone.

Take this baby to a vet immediately. The police can call you or go to where you go to the vet. Pup could have internal injuries !
