Found these two smallish lab mixes today running around Blackjack Oaks off of 428 west of Aubrey. Took to vet to see if they were chipped and they are not. Vet estimated about 1 yr old based on teeth. They've been living on their own for a couple days probably but appear healthy and well tempered. One had a collar still but based on marks on their necks, it looks like they were probably tethered much of the time. We bathed them twice with flea/tick shampoo and we think we got most if not all of the pests. We would keep them but already have 4 dogs and can't add two more. We desperately need help finding new owners or fosters as we are not set up to foster/adopt. They are so sweet we would be devastated to take to shelter.
