I'm so sorry that Dutchess is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of the neighbors in that area!! If they are an indoor cat they are likely hiding nearby. Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask the neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. Consider putting missing flyers in that neighborhood. Also check online at the found cats at the NoCo Humane Society. https://www.nocohumane.org/lost-found-pets/stray-cats-2/ Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. Look for them and call for them after it gets dark (currently 5:30pm with the time change) and around dawn (currently 6am with the time change) as that's when they move about. I've heard that they try to return the same way they left so if you can leave a garage door, window, etc. open. Make sure that your contact information connected to their chip registration is correct! There are mixed opinions on putting out their litterbox. Put out a piece of your clothing and one of their blankets. I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Dutchess is reunited with you soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV

Please post cross streets. Get out calling kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor com

Please go out at night after traffic noise has down, shine flash light under bushes and things cat can hide under and also in trees. Check out any green spots looking back at you. Call cat and wait for a meow back. Also start from where cat went missing for a radius of 2 miles, knock on doors and ask in person if they will check sheds, garages, window wells, and other outside buildings for cat. ALSO, put cats bed or an old pair of your tennis shoes to help cat know where your porch is. NOT, a litter box that will attract other animals that may keep your cat away. Scared cats usually don't travel far from where they go missing and will wait for YOU to come find them. Also stop by local shelters and rescues everyother day to see if cat has been. turned in. GOOD LUCK
