Message from Owner

Mochi has been gone for more than 2 months now. Looks very much like multiple tabby cats posted but without us seeing the cat in person, he can't be identified unless someone scans the chip-which is tied to our phone. If he has been picked up and placed in a shelter we are hoping that he will be scanned and we will be contacted. Reading online that the shelters and animal rescue agencies are full. Please post on Nextdoor or this site if you think he is wandering in your neighborhood. He is so sweet I imagine people will fall in love with him and feed him, if he is still alive.

I have one that showed up at my house .. been about month now comes at night . I feed her water very clean . No one in my area has a cat . I was thinking this is female though. I been trying to get her to stay inside until I take her to shelter to see if has chip . She would sleep with my grandson and comes 5 needs to go out lol . I’m off The Columbia Hwy N

Lois Keasler It's true that chips can "travel." Years ago I inadvertently scanned one in a dog's upper front leg! After that I always scanned the entire front of each animal.

You probably need to visit the shelters and look for him. They are overwhelmed and are volunteers. He might have slipped thru the cracks. As hard as they work, they can't be expected to catch every post or recognize every animal. Chips sometimes move to different areas of the animals body, so there might be that as to why he hasn't been identified
