Intact male white and gray pit bull

Message from Finder

This intact very docile male dog has been roaming our block and sleeping in our front yard the last few nights near the corner of Bridal Wreath & Franklin. He doesn't seem emaciated, but we put a little kibble and some water out for him, and he approached us and waited patiently until we had put the bowls down, so we're inclined to think he belongs to someone, as he seems to have good manners. Anyone recognize him? Is he lost or a stray?

The shelter is beyond capacity, and we will try and take him to get scanned for a chip tomorrow at our vet if he is still around, and we can get him on a lead. He's currently in the deep shade in our front yard and we've been taking him lots of water and keeping an eye on him. We already have a dog and five cats, so it would be unsafe to bring him inside, or we would do that.

Can you see if you can take him to any vet offices or Petsmart to scan for microchip?? If not, please call animal control, it’s too hot out there, he won’t last
