~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters…
If you’ve lost your dog, don’t give up. ❤️ Here are the things that helped bring my dog home: 🐾 Post everywhere on social media – Local Facebook groups, neighborhood pages, Nextdoor, Ring Neighbors, and any lost & found pet groups for your area. Ask friends to share your post. 🐾 Go to your local Humane Society and animal shelters IN PERSON if you can. Don’t rely only on phone calls or websites. Dogs are sometimes brought in before they’re officially entered into the system. 🐾 Check Animal Control and nearby shelters every day. Your dog may be picked up in a neighboring city or county. 🐾 Create a clear flyer with a recent photo, where your dog was last seen, your phone number, and any identifying features. 🐾 Walk or drive the area early in the morning and around dusk. Bring treats, a favorite toy, or something that smells like home. 🐾 Ask neighbors to check garages, sheds, backyards, and under porches. Frightened dogs often hide quietly. Most importantly, don’t lose hope. I know how heartbreaking this is because I just went through it myself, and my dog was found. Keep posting, keep checking shelters, and keep looking. Sometimes it only takes one person seeing your post to bring your best friend home. ❤️
Dueños mantengan siempre sus mascotas con Tag. Nombre y teléfonos actualizados aunque tengan Chip. Más seguridad. Dios quiera aparezca 🙏
