Missing Cat - Kairos Our 10-month-old cat, Kairos, has been missing since yesterday evening and has not returned home, which is unusual for him. He is a young male cat with a cautious but adventurous personality. We live on orchard Glen circle, and we're very worried about him. If you live nearby, would you please check your garage, shed, crawl space, under decks, or any other enclosed areas where a cat might unexpectedly get trapped? If you've seen him or have any information, please send me a message. Thank you so much. Here is my contact info:

Ask neighbors if he may be trapped in their garage or shed, and check on other nearby streets, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him and making a familiar sound. I hope he is found soon🙏🏻

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Get your flyers up! Do not rely on social media alone, most of my missing animals come home, because of physical flyers! I do 8X11 in the immediate area 4 per block, the bigger the area 3 per block and so on. I've had the most success with the 4 per page mini handouts of the same flyer. I will give these to the Mailman, UPS, Fedex, Garbage man, Gas stations, Grocery stores. Also fluorescent backgrounds at major intersections 8X11 or bigger. Also law enforcement and animal control. More than likely, it's not going to be your eyeballs. That bring your pet home. Also not everybody has social media. So we need as much help as we can get from the community. So make it easy for them to get a hold of you. and remember the harder you work, the luckier you get! I hope these suggestions help you get your animal home soon and safe. 😉
