Here are some helpful tips for lost pets: 1. Add photos if not already added 2. Include pets name, date/time where/when pet went missing, gender, if spayed/ neutered, if they’re microchipped, and if wearing a collar or other type of ID. 3. Include your contact info and check posts for comments & private messages 4. Call 311 for Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) and report lost pet, https://search.app/aqFmANjE8maBVPAM8 5. Check 24petconnect website; includes pics and details of all animals in local shelters. https://24petconnect.com/ 6. Visit OCAS to see if your pet is there; they don’t post all incoming dogs/cats on their website. 7. Post same info on Pawboost website, Nextdoor and Ring apps. Post Lost Pet flyers inside clear letter sheet protectors with photo of pet, contact info, if chipped etc within a 6-8 block radius. 9. Contact local vets, including emergency vets, and businesses in the area. Provide lost pet info and distribute flyers. 10. If your pet is found, update your original posts.
