Jasmine is Missing in Maple Grove, MN

light gray dilute tortie, approx 6-7lbs, thin frame but swollen belly.

"Jasmine" is a rescue who escaped her carrier when being loaded into a vehicle in order to take her to a vet. She is estimated to be at most 2 years old but probably closer to 1 or younger. She came from a colony that was getting out of control, already having had one litter (who were taken away when the boat she had them in was sold and taken), and is likely pregnant with a second. Jasmine is a name she was just given and she does not respond to it. She was being hosted in my bathroom because there was nowhere else to isolate her, but escaped right at the last second in my driveway. The vehicle owner chased after her down Fish Lake Rd to 74th Ave N but lost sight of her at approximately 7AM on 7/1/2026. She is/was friendly and did seek people out for pets, and was ok with being picked up. I am hoping that is still the case that she sees people at least as a source of food and will approach someone for food and/or shelter from the weather going on. Only thing I've noted is that she is a little tail sensitive and may "love bite" if it is touched. As far as I know she has lived primarily outdoors her whole life but is used to people and being fed by them. I will come and get her if someone has seen and can contain her.
