Really? Such a small dog was left outside all day? Hawks, bigger animals and bait seekers for dogfights steal dogs from yards. Small Dogs should be watched and protected. They are like toddlers. Totally helpless and dependent on their parents for safety. I hope whoever took him did so to keep him safe.

Wait am I reading it correctly that you left a 3 pound Maltese outside while you were at work? If so I would leave your yard too. Also, I would not return this poor dog back to them for cruel behavior to him. Be safe Oso and find a family that lets you stay inside while they are gone.

Gorgeous! Praying Oso is found safe and reunited with you soon. In this heat he needs to be in house in gated Utility Room &/or crate while you are at work. A 3-1/2# dog can get dehydrated quickly & die.
