The person with kitty posted: David Korody Op here: she was bc she was fighting to get free and I dont own a carrier. I assure you she was fully swaddled in several towels before rope was used to secure her. Total tie time >20mins. She is now locked in a glass walled bathtub since I was able to trim her nails and check her for fleas/illness Im well versed In and know the ties to keep her from hurting herself. I did(and am doing) everything I can to keep thos poor cat safe, and I assue you i would never harm an animal.

I completely understand. If the cat was scared, wouldn't they feel safer contained? Fireworks would have scared you know what out of the cat and terrified kitty also. There was not a good option either way.
