Medium sized brown tabby cat

I found this poor kitty in front of the Dollar Tree on Western just south of Lawrence. I think he has been deceased for a while because he has started decomposing. I scanned him for a chip but I could not find one. I turned him in to a local vet's office so they can rescan for a chip more thoroughly and have him/her cremated. Please contact me if you think this is your cat and I can tell you the name of the vet where I left him. I will call the vet tomorrow to see if they found a microchip. Say a prayer for this little guy.

Unfortunately they told me he was too decomposed to tell. I don't remember seeing any decomp, perhaps they just didn't want to check. Sorry. I do know he/she was not chipped.

It's possible but there is always one or two homeless people in front of that Dollar Tree sitting by the door and they have bags full of rags and towels. It could have already been there. Not sure.
