I’ve been out of the country on vacay for a family wedding and family reunion. I had somebody watching the dog and didn’t tell me until I got back that he ran away. I don’t know how long he’s been missing for. He’s a blue heeler, Australian Shepherd, dog long-haired he’s friendly, but also gonna be a little nippy. He doesn’t like to be restrained specially by someone he doesn’t know if I’m kind of afraid I don’t want him nipping or biting somebody. He’s normally good with people and kids.

Denise Crist he wasn’t the dog went to rescue on the 14th Was on the adoption floor for one day They identified the dog as being Ali County from a intake photo That was on July 5 and on July 14 Rescue picked up

Omg hopefully he is chipped please go directly to the Lee County shelter and check to see if he's there has been there because if he was not chipped, they euthanized Dogs very quickly if they're not put on the adoption floor I don't wanna scare you, but I would go there today. Was this person that you had watching him a licensed pet sitter? If so, please let us know who it is and nobody uses them. 😡

You can contact the Rescue coordinator at Lee County domestic animal services Not very helpful, but sometimes maybe Give the dogs ID number that has been listed here Email address MPenney2@leegov.com If you need us too, we can put in for public record and find out what Rescue if they will not tell you

This exact scenario happened to me years ago. I never found my dog. Sadly I lived across from the river and I’ve always had that fear that she ended up jumping in(a chocolate lab) unable to get out Good luck in your search
