Message from Owner

Pork chop got out last Thursday evening, he hasn’t come home. He is a sweet friendly kitty but a scaredy cat. Unsure if he would come up for treats or wet food. Biggest give away that it is him is he is missing one of his top k9’s! Also has a candy cane tail!!

Check in all enclosed shelters or neighbors garages, they go in those to hide and get locked in (happen to mine one time for 5 days) go out at night with a flashlight and shine under all bushes and woods, if they are not use to being outside he is scared and hiding and will not come if called because they are terrified........also, put out his favorite person's clothes item or his favorite blanket. ***** keep water and food out for him just in case he sneaks out at night to eat and drink***** I did that for a month with one of mine that got out and was too scared to come back to house.....took me a month but I finally got her back in house.

Call his name frequently and repeatedly. Look under low branches and shrubs an inside cat will usually hide there from being frightened outside. Go outside at night with a flashlight and treats shake the bag of treats and Call his name. Check crawlspaces and out buildings ask neighbors to do the same thing. Check storm drains. Put out food and water dishes put out some of your dirty laundry a cat can smell for a great distance away. If all else fails set a humane trap bait it with tuna or sardines. If you do not have a trap you can borrow one from a local rescue or animal shelter. Best of luck bringing your beautiful kitty back home and I will say a prayer for a safe return home very soon. 💞🐈🏡🙏🏼✨️
