Found this beautiful boy across the street from our home in south apopka near Apopka memorial cemetery. He seems to be a puppy. He’s such a good boy. Listens very well. We gave him food and water and had him checked for a chip. There is none. Took him to vet now to get examined as he has heat rash on his neck, very skinny and has a slight limp. He now has been treated for rabies, flees ticks and is resting in our home. But needs a good permanent home. He’s great with other dogs too. Please share to find him a good home. He needs love.

Debbie Grey we cannot keep him for 30 days and is not a new owner or home that we are in search for were simply asking for someone to help and Foster I don’t know why you’re taking this so personal all we’re trying to do is help do you want us to leave them out of the street as he was? You need to relax and calm down

Andrew Velázquez all that is great. What isnt great is that ypu are already finding him a NEW home within less than a day. Its a 30 day hold time, not a day, not 3 days. 30!! With a goal of continuing to look for an OWNER not a new home.

Debbie Grey I tried. It doesn’t let me edit it. Day 2. No previous owners have contacted us. We’ve posted in Orange County and Seminole missing dog reports and called 311. We definitely feel that he had a previous owner, unsure if it was an abusive home. But he is a great boy and listens very well. His heartworm test came back negative. He has no worms in his matter. He is pooping solid now and already getting a little weight.

Debbie Grey that's actually great to hear. I've always thought 5 days wasn't enough time. What if a dog escaped while their family was away and they're gone more than 5 days? I have 2 dogs I found (1 for 6 years and one for 2 years). I would have given them back to their owners way after 5 days if anyone had come forward. 5 days just isn't enough time!

Andrew Velázquez This is Hope, I searched and searched for her owner she’s been with me for 9 months now. Vet said (and I agree) that she came from an abusive situation, she’s still scared of everything but we’re working on it! ❤️
