I have adopted this kitty! Took him to the vet Saturday. His name is now Buster! He's got some meds to take but seems to be adjusting well.

Michael Shannon This is a FOUND cat, not a missing one. Actually, it says there that while he’s friendly, it seems like he’s been on his own for a while. That makes me wonder if someone dumped him intentionally, or if someone was looking for him so long and then gave up? And some of the posts you have seen might be people who are seeing their neighbors’ indoor/outdoor cats and don’t realize it - so perhaps some of the notices you have seen are for cats that are not really missing?
