Owner should check 24petconnect b/c it pulls from multiple shelters. Also check Pet Finder & Adoptapet websites to search shelters & rescues. Check breeds similar as well as "mixed breeds" & mutts b/c pets get mislabeled, sometimes. If microchip was unregistered at intake, it most likely won't be scanned again.

Shared. Put up big neon posters everywhere including your car. Drive around often and speak with everyone including postman etc. Any exterior cameras including neighbors ? Go to pounds often and DON'T just call. Request a walk through. IMPORTANT !!!!!!! Small Dogs go fast at pounds cause rescues grab em up for resale
