Please file a found pet report with MCACC: 602-372-4598 or call MCACC (602-506-PETS) and they will pick it up from your location if you would like their assistance (if they can not assist you due to City you are in please ask them who to contact for assistance). If injured or sick, call The Arizona Humane Society (602-997-7585 Ext. 3). Post/search their online missing/found map @ https://gis.maricopa.gov/ACC/Stray/index.html (posting on the County Straymap does not replace making an official found report with County, please make sure to contact County if you are willing to hold while searching for owners). Any vet will check for a microchip for free of charge. Also post on sites such as: Petharbor.com, Nextdoor.com, PawBoost.com, Straydar on Facebook, Ring.com, LostDogsArizona.org & FindingRover.com if you haven’t already. Please note that ALL the websites listed are not just for dogs but for other types of animals as well. Please be cautious if someone does claim this pet. Remember to ask for proof of ownership by identifying unique markings, videos/pictures with the owner &/or their vet records. If taken to County and not claimed before the stray hold is up then this pet will be microchipped, altered (if not already) and put up for adoption.
