Message from Finder

I found this girl underneath our dumpsters crying. She is super sweet and staying at my neighbors till we can hopefully find her parents. She seems to understand Spanish as well.

God bless you and thank you for saving this precious baby’s life. She wouldn’t be alive without you. She’s absolutely beautiful. I would post on nextdoor.com your neighborhood watch. Also post on lost pet sites. Please also put some flyers up, saying found cat in your neighborhood. Make sure they’re up for a couple days maybe somebody’s frantically looking for her. In addition, please call your shelter and fax a flyer over there. The owner may be calling to see if anybody has found their cat. Is there anyway you could take her to Petsmart and have Banfield in the back check for free for a microchip. They will do this. I sure hope you can keep her. She’s absolutely beautiful if there’s no owner.

Thank you for being so kind to help keep this kitty safe. Are you able to secure inside to keep from a coyote getting him/her? Here’s what to do to help reunite a lost kitty with their family: 1. Post Online Share the found cat on local lost/found pet Facebook pages and neighborhood apps like: • Nextdoor, PawBoost and Local community groups 2. Check for a Microchip Take the cat to a nearby veterinarian or animal shelter to be scanned for a microchip. • Always use a secure cat crate or carrier to prevent escapes. 3. Put Up “FOUND CAT” Signs Not everyone is on social media! Post signs around the neighborhood - especially near where the cat was found. 4. File a Found Report This is very important. Contact your local animal shelter to report the found cat. 5. Foster if You Can If you’re able, please foster the cat while trying to locate the owner. It keeps them safe and off the streets. 6. Verify Ownership Ask anyone claiming the cat to provide proof of ownership, such as: Photos of the cat, Vet records and Identifying details.
