Not sure if anyone told you about this but petco has a website that helps scan shelter images and emails you when it locates a pet similar to yours. Even though it's been a while I would continue to share because I work in animal rescue and one time I had found a cat that was lost a year. My friend found one that was from West Virginia and found its owner. Maybe still leave an article of your dirty clothing on the porch
