Description

All white dove, slender neck. Might be scared but is sweet and tame. Won’t bite.If you pick Cru Cru up, it won’t bite. It’s a curious bird and very sweet. When it wants more snacks or to bathe again, they dance in front their cage. The photo is of Cru Cru’s closest sibling, they look just like Cru Cru.

Message from Owner

Howdie neighbors, if you find a white dove please let us know as one of our doves flew out of its cage while its water was getting changed. It flew out on Friday, August 21, 2026 a little before 6pm in the evening. Our dove has a slender neck and is all white. It doesn’t have a tag on its feet. It might be scared but isn’t aggressive at all, very tame and sweet bird. If you hold it it will stay still. My grandmother just turned 96 years old and loves her birds. She’s always had doves as for generations. It would mean so much if someone found Cru Cru so that they could be reunited with our family. We’re in the Helms Neighborhood area, across from the Helms Bakery (where the new Ikea, Pasta Sisters and Father’s Office Restaurants are). We’re North of Venice Blvd., and South of the Castle Heights and Cheviot Hills area, close to the downtown Culver City, Palms, Beverlywood, neighborhoods. 🙏🏼🕊 Please let us know if you find our dove, thank you so much and be well 🙏🏼🌻

Posted on Lost and Found birds of the US To Cru Cru's owner: We are so sorry to hear your bird is missing. Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
