Hi! Our sweet boy got out sometime last night, and we have looked around and he is no where to be found. :( we live at Independence at town center closer to to south Kellam road near the wegmans. Our big boy is ~25 pound tuxedo cat. He has respiratory issues and purs pretty raspy. He is so sweet and will let anyone pet him and has the tendency to just flop over. If anyone has seen our baby please let us know.

After 10 o’clock tonight, go out on your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around calling on your cat. Look in the bushes for your cat hiding. If the cat is chipped, make sure the registry has your up-to-date contact information. Print flyers with your cats picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbors. Ask your neighbors if they’ve been in one of their sheds or out buildings to see if the cat went in and got closed up. Garage is there another place that cat will go to hide. You cannot hear a cat crying to get out unless you’re standing right next to the building. Please file a lost cat report with Virginia Beach animal shelter. W look under porches, decks, and if any houses have an open crawlspace, look under the house.
