Repost on Nextdoor(.com)as an Urgent Alert, also petfbi(.org)and www.LostDogsFlorida(.org) * Notify 311 or 211 press # or your local county animal services and your Vet, 24 hour Emergency Vets, leave flyers at shelters, pet stores, dog parks, schools. * Call out expressions pet responds to, like “Treat!” or “Go for a ride!” * Leave pet’s bedding, or clothing with your scent by location pet left from (dirty socks, t-shirts, pajamas and pillow cases work well) * Leave food/water and crate at last seen location with a lost sign. * If practical, leave doors open to house, especially doors pet is used to going in and out of. * Recruit neighbors and friends to search by car, foot or bike * Tell people not to chase * If you have 2nd pet take with you to search. * Carry leash, treats and flyers/photo of pet to show people 🙏🏻Praying for a safe return! Put up lost dog signs or flyers with its pic and your contact info. Post on your nextdoor app and ring app. Post on Lost and Found Pets of Hillsborough County. A lot of people follow this page. Look on their page also to see if anyone found and posted as found on this fb page. Check Humane Society of Tampa Bay's website to see if someone found and may have dropped off. Do the same with PRC. Or go to the shelters in person to look. Check websites for days/hours of operation. You might put out your worn clothing or your dog's bed, toys, etc. They have a keen sense of smell and may lead it back home. If you have security cameras, check those to see if any sightings since it went missing. Ask neighbors to do the same. If microchipped, contact chip company to alert missing and verify your contact info is up to date. I hope you find your pup soon.
