Litter box outside helped my cat find his way home when he got out. Check with neighbors. Someone may have taken him in or seen him. Ask them to check their garages and sheds. He may have wandered in and got trapped. Cats hide when they are scared and they hunker down. Check under bushes, landscaping, stairs, cars and in tight spaces. Go out at night when it’s quiet with a flash and call him. The light will reflect his eyes. Put up posters and check local shelters. Try to go in person. Employees can’t remember every animal.
