Message from Owner

He’s never been outdoors before & we are so worried about him especially with the weather being the way that it is.

Shared in PA. He’s such a pretty cat, hope he’s found safe and soon🙏🏻🙏🏻. I see so many posts of lost pets, I share a lot of them. I just don’t understand with this awful winter weather, how so many get lost. Keep the faith.

Listen for kitty to try to come home late at night and early morning leaving something outside with both your and kitty smell on it helps

A few things you can try are: cats are active at night and early morning, walk around the outside of your house/building and whisper their name, do not shout it, the less yelling and excitement the better and then listen for a meow. Also, you can take a flashlight and shine it in bushes and trees to catch a reflection from their eyes. They usually don't stray very far from home. Put his food/water, catnip, and clothing you wore earlier in the day in front or in back of your house, they say cats can smell up to a mile. Do not leave the food out overnight as it may attract other animals that can scare the kitty away. Go to your neighbors and let them know your kitty got out and give them your contact info. Walk your neighborhood, shake the treat jar and talk to people as you walk and talk to your mail carrier. They see lots of animals and if they see a strange Kitty around they may recognize it as yours. Make sure you call local animal shelters, etc. Cats can disappear for days, weeks, months or longer and return so don't give up!

I pray for your safe fur baby return. Our kitty got out Wednesday night and we just got her back last night. She finally came home what helped was setting out something that had your scent on it a blanket or clothing. We also put a litter box out that way front porch and back porch were covered. Don’t put any food out because it will attract predators. She was out for a total of four days and we were worried sick thank goodness that she’s home safe and we hope that you’re for baby gets home safe also and many others. I hope this information helps you too.🙏🩷
