Girly is a male, solid black cat, that I have spent the last 2 years befriending. I was prepared to bring him indoors, and then he disappeared. He will likely be skittish with other people, but to me, he is my baby.

What area are you in ? Anaheim ? I saw a black cat just last night but he had a collar on there were actually 3 cats one was super friendly and the other was cautious and the black one came up to my but then kept it’s distance but they all had collar and bells on and it really bothered me because why if they are going to be outside ? The bell is a dead give away and one was so friendly and it just made me sad that anybody would leave them outside !!!
