Description

Muted calico cat with tipped ear

Message from Finder

This is a very friendly cat and has obviously been spayed because of her tipped ear, but she was walking on the sidewalk near the street and looks like she has an injury to her nose. Hopefully someone will bring her inside and take her to the vet.

I went back again today and scanned her… She has a chip! More neighbors said she definitely belongs to that house so I left a note saying that people are concerned and they should take her to the vet. Hopefully, they do.

General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers

Susan Sutton Thank you for finding out she lives at 352 Ashton. She could be a neglected kitty :( can you try knocking again and leave a note on the door asking about his/her nose? Just a way to see if can help them get kitty to the vet. I'm doing this for an elderly man right now for his elderly cat - or the cat would continue suffering xoxoxox thank you

Lisa Mercurio yes I just went back and she’s not there. Neighbors said she belongs to people at 352 Ashton. I knocked, but no one answered.

Susan Sutton - Oh my goodness the nose COULD be skin cancer - can you take her to your vet? SF Pet Hospital has wonderful vets. I've taken countless cats from the street there for a general check up - poor kitty I pray it's not aggressive skin cancer - if it is -it is far better to put down kitty then to die that slow agonizing painful death 😭💗🙏
