If you haven’t already:
Share on nextdoor, Pawboost and the Ring Neighbors app. You don’t need a ring camera to use the app! It’s super helpful.
TALK TO NEIGHBORS!
1. Please post on nextdoor & neighboring lost and pages.
2. Share on Pawboost and the Ring Neighbors app
3. Post flyers with a reward (they do work)
4. Search dawn and dusk calling his/her name while shaking their fav treats.
5. Ask neighbors to look in their yard/shed or crawl space.
6. Check shelter lost and found pages daily.
7. File a lost report with the appropriate shelter.
8. If your cat comes home, pls keep it indoors, get it fixed and chipped. (If not already).
9. You can considering setting a trap on your property.
10. Contact the chip company if applicable and report as “lost/missing”.
11. Check to see if anyone is feeding neighborhood cats, your baby may have found this food source.
12. And finally pls set their litter box (this may attract wild life, so proceed with caution), bedding and a few pieces of your clothing by your front door if possible.
Altered cats don’t travel very far, usually 75 yards or so.
