The Home I grew up in had a 2 way Milk Delivery Door built into the brick on our 3 Seasons Porch that was separate and locked away from the main home . My mother left it open on both sides and the next morning our 5yr.old cat was on the porch .... running sideways on the window blinds. We left her alone for a while so she could calm down ... and she did ... and live to a wonderful old age of 20 . They know their home and where they belong just waiting in the shrubs to get back in.

🙏❤️If lost close to home ...leave a door slightly open especially at night .... worked for our pet. Found them sleeping on the couch the next morning . Pets that are lost and scared most often will hide in underbrush tickets or shrubs close to home and feel safe to come out at night to find their way home

Try Going out late at night ie midnight and again early am ie 5 or 6 am with their smelly food and treats. Shake treat bag and call out their name. Take a flashlight and check under porches and bushes. Also if you can leave a basement window and garage door open so they can get in. Do for multiple days if needed. Good luck.
