*UPDATE REUNITED*: Trout made his way home last night at midnight. No clue where he was but he will be temporarily grounded until a collar is put on! We did walks in the area, put vacuum bag material in the garden and out front as well as dirty washing on the line. It could have all contributed to why he came back or perhaps he was hungry. A massive thank you to all the messages and support with this. I have posted in a lot of places, so please bear with me as I locate all my posts across different pages. ❤️

Hang items of your unwashed clothing outside your home so he can pick up your scent Repeat every 2days.Call late at night and early mornings shaking the treats.Definitely go out in your garden between 2am and 4am call listen and wait.Put posters up especially on your outdoor bin and in car window.Leaflet drop in your area and physically ask and go with neighbours to check their sheds and garages.Phone local vets.Good luck

Next step will be posters and door to door knocking. Most people didn’t answer or weren’t home so will be trying again today. He is microchipped and neutered. We’ve already searched the area multiple times and will be doing so again today (apologies if you hear us on your street later). Social media net has been cast so fingers crossed he is safe and sound. Scent trail was established (and will be again after rain) and attempts to call have all be unsuccessful. This is the longest he has ever been away and completely unlike him, especially since he’s an anxious cat.
