Lost dog ? Here’s a few things that you can do.
Hang out the pajamas you slept in last night or something that smells like you for the scent. They will search for your scent.
Check all around your home. Buildings that they could have gotten locked in. Brushy areas they could have gotten caught in. The leash or collar could get caught on something and they can’t get loose. Even long fur can get caught on limbs and stumps. Check Porches, garages, and decks of homes they could have taken refuge on. They don’t usually go far unless picked up. Check Craigs’s List in case they have been picked up by s stranger. Check with shelters, vets and groomers. Ask your postman to be on the lookout Put a large sign in your yard in case someone is looking for you. Hang flyers near where they went missing. Knock on doors and when you say their name, say it a bit loud and happy in case they are there. If they are, they will let you know by barking whining or trying to get to you. You never know what some people will do, not everyone is honest. Consider enlisting the aid of a good search and rescue, they can give tips an track your pup to exactly where they are being kept. And most of all, Don’t give up!
